Corridor Running Club
The Corridor Running Club’s mission is to promote healthy lifestyles through running events and community outreach. Corridor Running contributes a portion of every race dollar to local youth and families, supports local elite runners and partners with local charities to raise funds through running events.
Corridor Running is a non-profit running club serving Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and the surrounding Corridor areas. As a member of USATF and the Road Runners Club of America, we host and sponsor races of various distances throughout the year. We sponsor weekly group runs and training workouts throughout the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and the surrounding Corridor areas, as well as volunteering and social events.
Think Iowa City
The Iowa City/Coralville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) was established in 1983 and is the Iowa City area’s official destination management organization. The CVB’s goal is to attract more visitors, meetings, groups, and events to the area through destination marketing and outreach.
What We Do
- Attract new events, groups and meetings to the community
- Provide service and support to existing and repeat events, groups and meetings
- Execute and plan events to generate more visitor traffic
- Provide comprehensive visitor resources of local information.
As a private, nonprofit corporation, the CVB is guided by a 15-member board representing the CVB partnership; the city councils of Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty; the University of Iowa; Johnson County Board of Supervisors; and the area’s hospitality industry.
